Meditation is an effective way to start the day with a clearer and more open state of mind. A regular meditation practice can help to relieve stress and promotes insightful self-development and wellbeing.
This six week course will introduce Mindfulness of Breathing and Metta Bhavana (loving kindness) meditation. These practices come from the Buddhist tradition. There will also be an introduction to useful very short meditations, helpful for practising during a busy day. The course welcomes people of all faiths, or none.
Newcomers to meditation are welcome.
