SPRING CITY MEDITATION WEEK 2008

MONDAY 28 APRIL - FRIDAY 2 MAY 2008
SPRING MEDITATION WEEK 2008
Programme:

  • EARLY MORNING MEDITATION 8.10 - 8.50am daily
  • EVENING MEDITATION AND DIALOGUE SESSIONS 6-7pm daily
  • LUNCHTIME TALK TUESDAY 19 APRIL, 12.50 - 1.40pm
at St Ethelburga's Centre for Reconciliation and Peace, 78 Bishopsgate, London EC2N 4AG

Does peace come from within? What effect does the quality of our awareness have upon the world we inhabit? Can we take inner action to positively affect our states of mind, and thereby affect our actions and experience in the world?

This 'city retreat' will offer a supportive and friendly space for exploring the potential of meditation in our everyday life and relationships. In the tranquil setting of the Bedouin Tent at St Ethelburga's, in the midst of the busy City and weaving through our working week, we will take some time for meditation and reflection. There will be meditation sessions each morning to explore developing awareness and emotional positivity, a lunchtime talk (with Q&A), and a short meditation, reflection and dialogue each evening.

Beginners to meditation welcome. The week is open to people from any faith background (or none).

COST: £82/£35 CONCS for the whole week retreat, EARLY BOOKING RECOMMENDED
Due to practicalities of space, there is a maximum capacity of 20 people
